WINNERS ANNOUNCED.
The winners for Round 4 have now been announced. Congratulations to you all. A huge thank you goes to all my judges, many of whom stepped up last minute and covered extra categories. Thank you, I wouldn't have been able to do this without you all. To my wonderful artists, Bloodytearslife and Kargrif for their gorgeous plaques. Thank you both for your gorgeous work. A shout out to all the people who nominated and voted, thank you for your input.
ROUND 5 has also officially opened. If you have a favourite fic, one that you believes merit, NOMINATE IT!

We are in desperate need of more nominees if judging for Round 4 is to commence. So please, please, PLEASE send in some forms.
Categories that need more nominees include: Best Dark, Best PWP, Best Crossover, Best Non-Jossverse Crossover, Best Villain, and Best Break-Up. Other categories could do with more nominees also.
Due to the lack of nominees the nomination period has been extended until the 20th of January. Any category which does not meet the minimum requirement will not be judged. So please help! Thank you everyone who has sent in forms, you keep this awards site alive.

The nomination period has reached it's end but we still have a heap of categories that don't have enough nominees to be valid for judging. So I'm extending nominations until the 10th of December.

Just a quick note, there was a coding error on my part on the Round 3 Winners Art page. One of the graphics was incorrectly displayed. The problem has been rectified, and the winning author emailed. No-one actually lost an award, I'd added the same award in two places, hence the mix up. Just wanted to keep everyone informed.
A huge shout out goes to Bloodytearslife, Kargrif and HollyDB for their beautiful awards - they all had uber fast turn arounds and put up with late notifications from myself due to judging issues and RL problems. So thank you so much girls, I am in awe of your talent and your patience with me. *hugs*
Lastly, a quick thank you to Athenewolfe of Fang Fetish fame for updating Spark for me with this notice.

69 nominees have been added for Round 3. A huge thank you to to Rae, who sent in countless nomination forms to boost our numbers. *squishy hugs* And to everyone else who has filled in forms, THANK YOU!
Out of the 24 categories we have, 20 of them will definitely be included in judging for Round 3. Which is excellent, considering more than half of those did not have enough nominees a few days ago. The four categories in danger of not being included are: Best Challenge Reponse, Best Buffy Characterisation, Best Comeuppance and Best Cliffhanger. If you would like to see these categories judged and winners presented, please send in some more forms guys! We are still accepting nominations for all the other categories as well, because at this point none of them is full. Once again, thank you to everyone who's helped keep Spark and Burn afloat by sending in forms, it is greatly appreciated. Six more days till judging begins.

AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT DELAYED - the announcement of the winners for Round 2 has been postponed by a few days. We've had a couple hiccups with the judging - RL keeps getting in the way for our judges! If all goes to plan the awards should be up on the site at the end of this week, at the very latest hopefully not after the 2nd of April. Also, the Reader's Choice Poll has also closed.
